Experience
Dennis has over 40 years of construction experience with 25 years’ experience as a construction superintendent on commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects up to $8 mil, including working on historic structures.

Prior to Ward Construction Co., Dennis worked as a superintendent for HL Patten Construction for 28 years. He was responsible for overall on-site administration and technical management on his projects including, such items as scheduling, coordination, QC/QA, budget, equipment, manpower, and materials. He also maintains excellent working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and the public.

He ensured and enforced OSHA safety rules and environmental regulations including on government and military projects. Dennis was responsible for the performance of the project, craft people and subcontractors and developing a team atmosphere to ensure his projects came in on time and on budget.

His wide range of project types included schools, restaurants, warehouse, office space, cold storage, toll roads, industrial kitchens, equipment maintenance facilities, police and fire stations, municipal admin. facilities, auto dealerships, and health care facilities- among others.
