President, CEO
Experience
Stan has been the president and CEO of Ward Construction Co. since its inception in 1986. Stan has 25 years of experience in CM/GC and hard bid for new work, additions, and renovations. He is primarily responsible for project management and field operations. He also has significant estimating experience.
Stan has a strong role in each project from the initial planning phases, through preconstruction and construction phases giving the owner and architect one knowledgeable point of contact throughout the duration of the project including the warranty phase. In addition, as our lead project manager, Stan will be coordinating the office operation with the field activities to ensure that the project runs smoothly: creating the initial schedule with the superintendent, securing subcontractors, reviewing and correcting shop drawings, expediting materials, pricing owner/architect change requests and processing pay requests.
Before starting Ward Construction Co., Stan was the director of field operations and project manager for Beaudoin Construction Company from 1983 – 1986. He supervised project managers and superintendents. Prior to 1983, Stan worked as a field engineer for Hensel Phelps Construction Company and quality control manager for Sauter Construction.
